First, let me apologize, its been a while scince Ive blogged. So, I got my wedding dress in the mail a few days ago, at first I can say I was weary. The fact that I'd been tracking it like a hawk in a foreign language made me paranoid..
Example:
When the package arrived, I was freaking out. It came in what looked like a grey texturized bag the size of a throw pillow and felt like it weighed less than 3 pounds.
Oh crap..oh crap...oh crap!But sure enough, as I undid the package, there it was...my dress. Looked just like it did in the picture!
I'll be darned.Unfortunately, I havent a camera to show you what I look like in it. But here is a picture of a model way thinnner than I in it. =P

The dress looks great on me from the front, it kind of supresses any boobage I might have, so there is only a small bust, however - the back is where I freak a little bit. It seems cut off to quickly, so what I might do is find some full width blue and green ribbon (the colors of my wedding, and my dress is already Ivory) and use it to lace the corset style back, the color should distract from the cut off I dont like.
Another thing I aim to do is get half cup sleeves tailored onto the dress (because of my broad shoulders), kind of like the dress I showed in one of my previous posts...
Ahk, I dont know how I feel about it yet, but hey, I only paid 60 bucks for the dress brand new (tailored to fit), I cant complain >.<

It looks gorgeous! Especially if your dress looks like that. You know, I once ordered a PVC Body suit from China and was worried for the same reasons, but it actually turned out to be great quality.
I recommend getting the tailor to make a little lace bolero for you, rather than sewing sleeves directly onto the dress. That way you have the option of wearing it either way and you could use it to distract from the "cut off" you don't like.
It looks really good! I'll bet you would look better than the models...they're only models after all. They pretend to look like they're getting married. You ARE getting married :)

@troublemaker2008 - dont know yet. I have to find out if all the 150 family members will show, if they do, probably not errol >.< Although I'd like to invite everyone, weddings are expensive and I still havent invited but 1 person outside of my family and bridal party.

Sorry about the massive history footprints... I was trying to find a blog I thought I had seen before where you mentioned where you had ordered it from . . .. lol--I've a friend getting married sometime, who apparently has some spanish designer's gown, but I figured i could bookmark the cheap site, if need be.
My friend is ordering her gown over the internet...I don't think I could do it. I'd be freaking out!!! I'm glad it worked for you though. Looks like a wonderful dress.
